In an everlasting quest for new ways to blend sounds, Galiana/Jiménez has been exploring real time electronics combined with other acoustic instruments for a number of years. The result is a highly random music, unique and daring, in which improvisation and interactivity with the listener play crucial roles, while ideas flow with great naturalness and authenticity. Aesthetically, Galiana/Jiménez' sound creations draw from many sources and reflect a number of influences from contemporary music: from electronics to jazz (Oxam, Speedblues and Wet dreams); noise to ethnic music (Noisy and Tenetehára); and minimalism to free improvised music (Batecs, Díptic and Nature).
