This concert featuring Julián Elvira originated in the interest in innovation inspired by the Pronomo flute and its ability to reproduce the musical traditions of several regions in the world, chosen for their specific proximity to this musical instrument. The three traditions represented in this concert are: the Arabic tradition with the Ney flute, the Hindustani and Oriya traditions with the Bansuri flute and the Japanese tradition with the Shakuhachi flute. Marking a point (.) to engage in a dialogue with 1: European culture and the contemporaneity of its flute music, the result is 3.1 Culturas, a project that features music, its tradition and its contemporary times as a mediator among cultures.
